Today
commemorates the three month anniversary of the September 11 terrorist
attacks which caused such a great loss of life and damage to property.
The innocent victims from more than 80 countries included 2 Thai citizens.
Thailand
joins the international community in expressing its deepest sympathy to
the families of the victims and condemns in the strongest terms these inhuman
and tragic attacks. Thailand will continue to cooperate fully with the
United States and international community to counter all forms of terrorism
which pose serious threats to our common peace and security.
In
order to pay respect to the victims of the September 11 attacks, the international
community will jointly play their national anthems on this day. On this
occasion, the Royal Thai Government would like to invite the Thai people
to hold a vigil of remembrance.
